Hello Fresh: How cooking should be!

Okay. So I've never been a fan of meal delivery kits. I had never tried them and I damn sure wasn't interested. "I'm too busy.." "I don't have enough time in the evening.." "I'll just be wasting food.." Listen, I had EVERY excuse in the book! Until one day my good friend Shanella posted the most delicious looking meal on her story.

Me: Is this Hello Fresh?

Her: Yeah.

Me: How is it?

Her: It's really good. We love it. It saves us money.

Right there, I'm sold. SAVES ME MONEY?! Sis. Sign me up, neowwww! So lemme tell you guys about my first box and how I now live for Hello Fresh.

Spaghetti and Meatballs with Zucchini and Parmesan

Prep time: 50 min

Included in the box:

  • 6oz wheat spaghetti

  • 10oz ground beef

  • 1 zucchini

  • 1 yellow onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1/4 cup of panko bread crumbs

  • 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon tuscan heat spice

  • 1 unit chicken stock concentrate

Items you'll need (not included in box)

  • Olive oil

  • Butter

  • Pepper

  • Salt

  • Sugar

The instruction cards are super easy to read and super easy to follow. They even includes pictures. Like c'mon, you can't get any simpler than that. The meals are designed to be made in 3 pots/pans or less and I haven't seen a meal that takes over an hour to make. I seriously love them. This meal in particular required me to cut up some veggies, make meatballs, boil spaghetti and I was still able to get dinner on the table in an hour.

After it was all said and done, Jerm and I enjoyed a wonderfully made pasta dish. We're definitely HF fans now and he loves being a part of the process when it's times to pick our new meals for the following week. We've had some quite colorful and fun ones and I look forward to continuing this with him.

If you'd like to get started, use code HS-0UO3UKB4M for a $40 coupon to spend on your first box of fresh ingredients and delicious recipes. My boxes range about $60 a week and I'm able to skip weeks whenever we're out of town or decide on something else.

Continue feeding your body and your soul.

xoxo,

Glen
