Renovation revealed: I remodeled my kitchen!
Being able to see the fruits are amazing. I'm not going to lie, there were moments I second guessed myself, my abilities and my decision making skills but in the end I'm okay with how everything turned out.
This thing was a roll coaster!
I read the reviews. I did the research. I watched the videos. I went into this confidently saying to myself "YOU CAN DO THIS!" But then reality Hulk-a-mania leg drops you somewhere in the middle of it and you're left there stunned. "Am I going to be able to even finish this?" "How much will it cost to hire a professional at this point?" "Why did I even attempt this?"
Listen to me. FUCK THOSE THOUGHTS. You absolutely can do it.
That's it. That's the message.
Items used:
Touchless kitchen faucet: Runfine Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet
Backsplash: Daltile Retrospace - Modern White 3x6
Floors: COREtec Luxury Vinyl Planks - Solstice Cherry
Dishwasher: GE Front Control Dishwasher with Sanitize Cycle & Dry Boost
Cabinet Pulls: Ravinte 6'' Brushed Nickel Cabinet Pulls
**Although I did use the below items, I do not recommend them. The quality was poor. In retrospect, I wish I had purchased the items individually and not used the kit. I made them work, but it was a lot of unnecessary, added effort.
Cabinet paint kit - uppers: Nuvo Titanium Infusion 1 Cabinet Makeover Kit
Cabinet paint kit - lowers: Nuvo Cabinet Makeover Kit, Earl Grey
Countertop Marble kit: Giani Carrara White Marble Epoxy Countertop Kit
For transparency: I did not physically tile the backsplash and lay the vinyl plank flooring. I hired an amazing contractor named Carlos here in Killeen, Tx and he executed my vision flawlessly. Super grateful for the work he did on my home.
Okay. So I think I've covered everything, but if I didn't please leave me a comment below! Thanks for sharing this moment with me!
xoxo,
Glen
